“Os Narigudos” are the new mascots of the children's space at the Municipal Library of São Brás de Alportel.
“Mr. Narigudo, Mrs. Nariguda, Narigudo Totó, Narigudo Sonâmbulo and Narigudo Scared are the new intermediaries in the work of mediation and promotion of reading among young people in São Brasense”, says the City Council of São Paulo. Bras.
The idea is “to help improve the literacy skills of children who already attend that section of the Municipal Library of São Brás de Alportel and to help create new readers”.
The public presentation of these mascots, on March 4, attracted many children and parents to the Municipal Library “in a lively afternoon full of activities”.
At the suggestion of a mother and her children, the “Fã Clube dos Narigudos” was created that same afternoon. Now, at least once a month on a Saturday afternoon, the fan club will gather and promote activities.
All children who want to be fans of “Narigudos” can sign up at the library counter.
Os Narigudos is designed by designer Lilian de Barros, who was invited to create new mascots for young readers in São Brasenses.
