The Municipal Swimming Pools of Lagoa hosted an Adapted Swimming Meeting, on the 13th of March, which brought together close to 100 students from schools mainly in the Barlavento Algarvio region.

The morning was «animated by young people with various pathologies who shone in this sporting challenge, with the support of teachers, municipal workers and students from the professional sports class of the Manuel Teixeira Gomes School», says the Câmara de Lagoa.

The meeting, part of the 1st strategic axis of the municipality in supporting and promoting sport for all, was "very positive, taking into account the joy and good spirit shown by all stakeholders," he adds.

The event, part of the School Sports program and organized by ESPAMOL – Grouping of Schools Father António Martins de Oliveira, had the support of the municipality of Lagoa.
