The solidarity concert of the “Move for this cause” project will take place on the 6th of April, at 22 pm, at the regional delegation of the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPDJ), in Faro.
The objectives of the initiative are to contribute to the dissemination of the institution MAPS – Support Movement for the AIDS Problem, to encourage the active participation of the population in general and to minimize the effects of some forms of social exclusion.
Notwithstanding its essence and global objectives, this project also contemplates the raising and consequent distribution of food, clothing, hygiene products, among others, for the most needy population.
This event will have the special participation of Afonso Dias, Rosinda Vargues, Monology project, Fernando Leal, Luís Brito Rocha, Nadhiyah Bellydance and Irina Egorova-Svechnikova, who take music, dance and stand up comedy on stage,
This solidarity concert is organized by the students of the 3rd year of the Post-Labor Social Education Course at the University of Algarve, within the scope of their internship project at MAPS – Support Movement for the AIDS Problem and has a partnership with the IPDJ.
