The School of Health of the University of Algarve (ESSUAlg), promotes, between March and November, a series of thematic sessions on child health care, in Faro.

The first session, which will have Susana Rodrigues (Speech Therapy) as a guest, is scheduled for March 3rd, and will talk about “Baby bottles, pacifiers and fingers, is that the question?”.

On May 5th, “Total sun protection, for unparalleled fun”, by Tânia Nascimento (Pharmacy) will be highlighted.

In July, on the 7th, Filomena Matos (Nursing) will speak on the theme “Together to protect lives, basic life support”.

On September 1st, Paulo Niza (Dietetics and Nutrition) will address the theme “Enlightened parents, well-nourished children”.

The last session will be presented on November 3 by Emília Costa (Nursing), who will talk about “Positive Parenting”.

Aimed at the general public, the five sessions will take place between 10:00 and 12:00, at ESSUAlg's premises.
