The Rio Fish Festival will return to Pomarão, in the municipality of Mértola, on the 7th and 8th of April. Lamprey, muge, or eels are the main gastronomic proposals of the Festival.
According to the Mértola City Council, "the event, which has already been held for 15 editions, aims to enhance the Guadiana and the cultural traditions of this riverside area."
Companies and institutions in the county interested in participating in this edition should consult the available regulation here and formalize the registration until the 20th of March.
The organization is the responsibility of the Municipality of Mértola in collaboration with various entities, clubs and associations.
