Carolina Deslandes will perform, on March 23, at the XII Feira do Porco Alentejano, in Ourique.
Recognized as one of the singers in the new wave pop Portuguese, Carolina Deslandes was known by the general public for her participation in SIC's “Ídolos” program, in which she was ranked third in the 2010 edition.
With the second record in the pipeline (scheduled for release this spring), the first single of the new work, “A Vida Toda”, was released in 2017, becoming a timeless song that already has more than 5 million views on YouTube.
The long awaited second single, “Avião de Papel”, in a duet with Rui Veloso, is ready and will be presented in February.
In 2014, he edited “Blossom”, his debut album, and “Mountains”, the duet with Agir, which has reached over 11 million views to date.
Carolina Deslandes' presence at the Porco Alentejano Fair, on March 23, alongside Miguel Gameiro, on March 24th, «will be the guarantee of another great musical moment in Ourique», according to the City Council.
«The Porco Fair is today one of the main events of Baixo Alentejo and the country, constituting a space of affirmation and visibility of the strategy of the Municipality of Ourique for the enhancement and modernization of Porco Alentejano and its derivatives, the cork oak and the rural world», says the Chamber of Ourique.
The XII Porco Alentejano Fair, which takes place on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of March, is jointly organized by the Municipality of Ourique and the Association of Porco Alentejano Breeders and will be a space for debate and reflection on the rural world, tasting and gastronomic experiences and musical entertainment, leisure and fun.
