Ambiolhão will carry out cleaning and sanitizing work on the county's public water supply reservoirs, between Feb 19th and 23rdby predicting «supply failures».
The procedure aims to preserve infrastructure and reduce potential contamination risks.
"The execution of the works in question was scheduled in order to minimize the inconvenience of the suspension of water supply in the daily activities of the residents, with provision having been made, whenever possible, to carry out night interventions in the reservoirs where there is a need to temporarily suspend the supply,” says the municipal company Ambiolhão.
Predicted failures in water supply:
– Early morning of Tuesday, February 20, from 00:00 to 03:00 – city of Olhão (buildings below Av. D. João VI, in Bairro Fundo Fomento Habitação and Bairro 8 de Outubro);
– Early morning of Tuesday, February 20th, from 02 am to 00 am – North area of Moncarapacho;
– Early morning of Wednesday, February 21st, from 00:00 to 03:00 – Laranjeiro area;
– Early morning of Wednesday, February 21st, from 02:00 am to 04:00 am – Northeast region of Moncarapacho;
– Wednesday night, February 21, from 23:00 until dawn on Thursday, February 22, at 04:00 – building nº 8 at Rua João Augusto Saias and consumers residing along the railway line between Marim and Fuseta ;
– Thursday night, February 22, from 22 pm until dawn on Friday, February 00, at 23 am – Cerro Azul urbanization;
– Early morning of Friday, 23 February, from 00:00 to 05:00 – Sítio da Arte Nova and resident consumers along the railway line between Arte Nova and Fontes Santas.
