The ACD Ferragudo women's under14 basketball team was crowned regional champion of the sport this Sunday, for the second consecutive year.
The girls from Ferragudo beat their opponents from Sporting Clube Farense, by 78-35, in the last game of the Final Phase of the Regional Under14 Championship, played between 26 and 28 January, at Pavilhão Prof. Manuel Ferraz, in Parchal (Lagoa).
With this result, the ACD team qualified for the National Championship of the category.
In addition, ACD athletes Maria Pedro and Rafaela Fernandes were elected to the ideal team, while Maria Pedro was elected MVP, best player in this Final Four.
But the awards for the formation of Ferragudense did not stop there: its cheerleading squad, the Piratas do Arade, was elected the best cheering squad in the Tournament.
