António Costa begins his visit in the morning at the headquarters of the Regional Coordination and Development Commission, in Faro, participating in the meeting of the Regional Council, a consultative body of the CCDRA.

Taking into account the work that has been done to transfer new powers to the Municipalities, as well as the Government's plans, already suggested before, to transform the current CCDR into bodies with broader powers, the participation of the Prime Minister in the first Regional Council meeting of the year is being looked forward to with some anticipation.

António Costa should also visit the hospital in Faro, which, in recent days, and like the vast majority of health units from North to South of the country, has been in the mouths of the world, due to lack of capacity of services and chaos in emergencies.
