The photography exhibition “Paisagens do Algarve”, by Mauro Rodrigues, will be on display until 29 January at the Municipal Library of São Brás de Alportel Estanco Louro.
Natural of Faro, Mauro Rodrigues was interested in the power that the image transmits to people's imagination from a very early age.
«Among the drawing, the design, painting and video, photography only appeared at the beginning of 2000. Since then, it has explored in general all the aspects that this art offers», says the Câmara de São Brás.
«Nature is a great source of creativity and provides, through its various interesting details, that are worth capturing, whether in color, shape, texture and time». This is the starting point that inspired and motivated Mauro Rodrigues in capturing the photographs that he now introduces us to in this exhibition.
