A giant cake-king, measuring 150 meters, will “extend” along Avenida José da Costa Mealha, in Loulé, this Saturday, January 6th, from 17:00.
The delicacy will be prepared, as usual, by LouléDoce.
The following ingredients were needed for the cake: 110 kg of flour, 100 kg of candied fruit for decoration, 50 kg of chopped candied fruit, 50 kg of dried fruit (sultanas, almonds, figs and walnuts), 22 kg of eggs (38 dozens), 22 kilos of sugar, 14 kilos of margarine, two kilos of flavoring drinks, 1,6 kilos of salt and 1,6 kilos of yeast.
This initiative will also feature a musical moment starring the Charolas Group of Barreiras Brancas and the Group of Charolas dos Machados.
Admission is free. This event marks the end of the Christmas Entertainment program in the municipality of Loulé.
