A new Thursday Meeting of the Grupo dos Amigos de Lagos is scheduled for January 4th, from 17 pm, at the Júlio Dantas Municipal Library, and will debate ideas and projects to be carried out in 00.
As always happens at the beginning of each year, this will be an opportunity for those interested in the life of the Lacobrigense community to disseminate works, ideas and projects for Lagos and integrate them in the activities to be developed in 2018.
The Grupo dos Amigos de Lagos, founded on January 27, 1993, is preparing the commemoration of its 25 years of life with the inauguration of facilities that the Municipality of Lagos will give to it in Rua Cândido dos Reis and which want to be a point meeting of the Lacobrigenses.
In these two and a half decades, the Grupo dos Amigos de Lagos has held more than two hundred and a half of “Thursday Meetings”, where regional and local interest issues are debated, and has edited three dozen publications designed to make “Conhecer” better known. Lagos” and the project “Lagos, city of poetry” is his initiative.
With the inauguration of its headquarters, this group “hopes to be able to implement new projects, with the strong support of the entire community”.
This meeting is free and ends at 18:00.
