The Municipal Library of Castro Marim receives, on January 19, at 15 pm, the preparatory meeting for the opening of the 00/2017 academic year of the Universidade do Tempo Livre (UTL), in which «the needs and expectations of population".
According to the Chamber of Castro Marim, "continuation will be given to the educational offer that has been made available", this meeting will then be used to listen to the "needs and expectations of the population in relation to the Castro Marim UTL and to streamline the registration process, so that the initiative starts at the beginning of February».
In the last academic year, approximately 150 people participated in the UTL courses, in the following areas: arraiolos, decorative arts, medieval atelier, embroidery, arraiolos, trapology, physical activity and meditation.
The courses were held in 10 locations in the municipality, namely, Altura, S. Bartolomeu, Rio Seco, Castro Marim, Monte Francisco, Junqueira, Azinhal, Corte Pequena, Alta Mora and Furnazinhas.
As in recent years, this initiative will have the collaboration of the Odiana Association.
