The VidaMar Resort Hotel Algarve, in Albufeira, was considered the best hotel for stays in Europe in 2017. The award was given by the tour operator SAGA, «one of the best known English operators in the senior segment».
The distinction is based on the ratings given by guests through surveys, this being the only hotel in the Algarve with the Award Winner 2017 Europe Stay distinction.
