A seminar dedicated to digital culture will take place on December 7th, from 14:30 pm, in room 2.35 of the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences (FCHS) of the University of Algarve (UAlg), on the Campus de Gambelas, in Faro.

This event, organized by Sandra Boto, a postdoctoral researcher, will feature a paper entitled “Digital philology under discussion: the case of the edition of Romanceiro de Almeida Garrett”, which will present one of the ongoing activities within the scope of the project. researcher's post-doctoral: the integral digital critical-genetic edition of this work.

The seminar will also feature the presence of researcher Natália Pires, from the School of Education and Communication of the University of Coimbra, who will present the presentation “Ulysses – um for annotation and study of corpora in the scope of Digital Humanities", in which he will talk about the potential of the Ulisses, a tool conceived from scratch for terminological analysis.

The initiative is promoted by CIAC – Center for Research in Arts and Communication, with the support of FCHS.
