APEXA – Association for the Support of the Algarve's Exceptional Persons, in Albufeira, will be the institution visited this afternoon, between 15 pm and 16 pm, by Santa Claus from Supermercados Apolónia, who walks around the Algarve «offering baskets, books and toys at institutions of solidarity that every day of the year help to improve the lives of the most needy».

APEXA's mission is to promote the inclusion of people with and without disabilities in areas such as health, rehabilitation, leisure, sport and training, promoting the right to equal opportunities for all and improving the quality of life.

Also this Tuesday, the 19th of December, starting at 17 pm, it will be ACCA's turn, in Vale do Lobo, Almancil, to receive a visit from Santa Claus from Apolónia Supermarkets.

This institution works to support orphanages, needy families, ethnic minorities, schools, young people with disabilities and children from families with social integration problems.

Previously, Santa Claus from Supermercados Apolónia had already worked at CASP – Porches Social Support Center, which provides support to children and the elderly and promotes inter-generational interaction between the youngsters who attend his crèche and the users of the center. day and Casa dos Avós, the center where some elderly people stay overnight.

Each of the institutions visited, in addition to receiving Christmas baskets, will also receive toys and books to distribute to children so that this festive season has another magic and charm.

According to a press release from Apolónia Supermarkets, "this is yet another action that fits into its values ​​and its genesis."
