The working groups, which will reflect the concept of “Aradismo”, will be presented this Tuesday, December 12, at Espaço Raiz, headquarters of the Teia d'Impulsos association, in Portimão.

These groups are open to the entire civil society, so registration for those who want to participate will also be able to be made on site.

And what is this “Aradismo”?

«In the two previous editions of the Jornadas do Arade, a new concept emerged, the “Aradismo”, which is based on the finding that a concerted movement for the development of the four municipalities in the territory of the Arade Basin (Portimão, Lagoa, Silves and Monchique ), in its most varied aspects, can have an important impact on the progress of the region», explains Teia d'Impulsos.

Thus came the «idea of creating working groups within civil society, with the objective of reflecting and discussing strategies and solutions for the promotion and development of the territory of the Arade Basin. This challenge was enthusiastically welcomed by the Teia D'Impulsos association and resulted in the launch of the “Aradismo” project».

In this initiative tomorrow, starting at 21 pm, Bruno António, executive director of Dypall Network, will lead the ForTalk “Participative Citizenship in the Push for Regional Development”, where he will certainly address his experience in promoting active social participation, especially among the most young.

«This ForTalk will inspire the launch of the Aradismo project», says Teia d'Impulsos.

The evening will also be marked by the balance of what has already happened in the first year of Espaço Raiz's existence, as well as by what is planned to be done in this space in the short and medium term. There will also be space for the signing of collaboration protocols between Teia D'Impulsos and other associations that already use this space to carry out their activities.

Entry into this initiative is free and requires no prior registration. Espaço Raiz is located on Rua Francisco Daniel (former Primary School of Pedra Mourinha), in Portimão.
