Antonium Covas, U teacheruniversity of Algarve and weekly columnist for the Sul Informação, presented last night, at the historic Club Farense, in Faro, the book “Territories and Territorial Development: Crónicas do Sudoeste Peninsular”, in front of around twenty colleagues, friends and regular readers.

The work, which brings together 30 of the chronicles published weekly by the author in our newspaper since 2016, has raised some debate on the issues of regionalization and regionalism, including the cases of the Algarve and Catalonia, as well as “Europe of the Regions”.

Among those present, we highlight Paulo Águas, new rector of the University of Algarve, Álvaro Café, president of Civis, Tomasz Boski, professor at UAlg, Júlio Cabrita, Services director of the Regional Directorate of Agriculture, architect Porfírio Maia, or José Graça , head of the Information, Promotion and Communication Division at CCDR Algarve, among other personalities.

The book, which costs 10 euros, is on sale at Fnac de Faro and at Bertrand.
