The University of Algarve re-entered the World University Rankings of the Times Higher Education (THE), this time in the areas of “Life Sciences” and “Clinical, pre-clinical and health”.

«Situated between positions 400 and 500, UAlg always occupies 1st place in performance international outlook, that is, in international projection, among the 7 Portuguese universities that are included in the list», announced today, 15 November, the Algarve Academy.

In the 2018 edition of this ranking by area, there are 500 universities. The list “is drawn up taking into account the various aspects of the institutions, such as teaching, research, international projection and knowledge transfer”.

This new international recognition of the University of the Algarve arises just over two months after the institution entered, for the first time, the world ranking prepared by the same publication, which includes around 1000 universities from 77 countries.

«This ranking had already considered that the strongest point of the Algarve academy is its international projection», according to UAlg.
