The Arade Bridge, on the EN125, will be cut off to traffic, in both directions, on three occasions, for periods of about ten minutes, throughout today, 8 November. The first cut is scheduled for 10 am and the time for the following ones will "depend on the progress of the work", said a source from Rotas do Algarve Litoral to Sul Informação.

The traffic cuts are necessary due to the carrying out of works to lift the deck of the Ponte do Arade access viaducts, within the scope of the work “Contract for the Conception, Design, Construction and Rehabilitation of Road Sections Associated with the Algarve Litoral Sub-concession”.

To avoid the Ponte do Arade, you can use the route via Estômbar, the Ponte Velha de Portimão, or take the Via do Infante.

In the coming days, the situation will repeat itself, depending on how the works proceed, said the same source of RAL.
