Half a hundred teachers from all over the Algarve participated, on Saturday, in Lagoa, in the meeting on the theme “Programming and Robotics in Education”, which is the result of a partnership between the Municipality of Lagoa and ANPRI (National Association of Informatics Teachers) .

At the Meeting, there was talk of “Projects and Practices" with Basic and Secondary Education students, with teachers Justino Correia, Duarte Duarte, Filipe de Jesus, Paulo Ribeiro, Paulo Cavaco and João Mateus, and on the same subject, but with 1st Cycle and Pre-School students, with Paula Freire and Vitor Nobre.

After a lively lunch, there was time and space for practice, with three workshops:

In the first one, the teachers tested the engines, configured and programmed ANPRINO robots to carry out simple tasks with Ardublocky, a block and/or code programming language and the demonstration of their potential in an educational context.

The second workshop was dedicated to the Introduction to 3D Modeling and Printing, which was very useful, as the evolution of 3D printing has shown perspectives on 3D modeling, as well as its immediate application.

3D modeling is part of numerous disciplines, including 7th grade ICT and professional course modules.

The third workshop had the theme of Arduino and Digital Systems, being oriented towards the modules on integrated digital systems in the discipline of Computer Architecture, and Programming and Information Systems, from the Professional Course on Management and Programming of Computer Systems.
