President of the Republic regrets the death of businessman José António Silva

The President of the Republic regretted, in a note published on the President's website, the death of the Algarve businessman José António da Silva, president of the CCP – Confederation of Commerce and Services of Portugal – during the period 2004-2010, and presented to the family and all members of the CCP «the most heartfelt condolences».

According to the note from the Presidency of the Republic, "the businessman and association leader Dr. José António Silva exercised his functions in a context of increased difficulty for local or proximity trade, always fighting for the dignification of trade and service companies in the Portuguese market" .
