The PSP detained five alleged heroin and cocaine traffickers in a large-scale operation that took place at dawn today in Olhão, which culminated a several-month investigation by the Criminal Investigation Brigade of the Police Station in this city.
The evidence collected by the members of this brigade allowed the PSP to obtain six house search warrants and a seventh to search a commercial establishment. One of the searches was made in Lisbon.
During these proceedings, 600 individual doses of cocaine, 300 doses of heroin, dozens of doses of hashish, around 3500 euros in cash and a compressed air gun, material used for packaging and packaging the drug and various electronic equipment were seized.
Of the five detainees, four Portuguese and one foreign citizen, three already had a criminal record for drug trafficking.
To carry out this operation, the PSP of Olhão was supported by Rapid Intervention Teams from Faro and by agents of the Lisbon Command of this police force.
