The ballet “O Lago dos Cisnes” takes place on November 28, at 21 pm, in the Municipal Auditorium of Olhão, closing the month's program.
«”O Lago dos Swans” is considered the most spectacular of the classical ballets. The choreography requires dexterity and technical aptitude from the dancers in the representation of the characters in this work, particularly in the confrontation of the figurative character present in the purity of the White Swan and the intrigue manifested in the duplicity of the Black Swan, especially in the two “Grand Pas de Deux”, interpreted in II and III scenes of this work», he adds.
Another important moment will be «the enchanting “Dance of the Little Swans”».
«The prestige and timeless notoriety achieved by the work are motivated by the music inspired by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, but also by the inventive and expressive choreography of Marius Petipa, which, relating the human body to the movements of a swan, reveals its genius, its potential choreographic and artistic creativity», says the municipality of Olho.
“Tchaikovsky composed this masterpiece in a transcendent way. The success of his compositions results from his ability to express feelings through musical language, creating intense and emotional melodies».
The “Russian Classical Ballet” presents a classic production, with manufactured costumes and a range of enchanting melodies that make up this great masterpiece.
This will be a «unique spectacle that will certainly last in the memory of the public from Olho,» concludes the City Council.
