The last book of the trilogy “Words with which Brinco e Aprendo”, by the researcher Ruivinho Brazão, is presented next Wednesday, November 29, at 16:30 pm, at the Lídia Jorge Municipal Library, in Albufeira.

This most recent research work is aimed at children between 10 and 13 years old and features illustrations by Inês Gonçalves.

This is another edition of the Association for Research and Study of Orality, resulting from the research project on Oral Heritage, which began in 1994 and which was based, especially, in the micro-fields of Paderne and Boliqueime (municipalities of Albufeira and Loulé).

Adriana Nogueira, professor at the University of Algarve, has already said about this series that she learns from her family a great deal of the knowledge of the oral tradition that she still possesses today. And he adds: “like me, many people (many of the readers, certainly) were lucky, but our current way of life doesn't help to bring family members together, doesn't leave them much time for evening conversations or long afternoons. play".

Therefore, these books by Ruivinho Brazão «are very good for remembering and suggesting some fun ideas for those who manage to find some time to spend with their children».

The book is supported by the Councils of Albufeira and Loulé, by the Parish Council of Paderne, by the Superior School of Education and Communication of the University of Algarve and by the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve.

The publication is aimed at young people in Basic Education in general and follows on from the Oral pedagogy sessions, which, at the pace of research, have been held in school and municipal libraries in the Algarve Region, with relevance to Albufeira and Loulé.

As for the entrance to the presentation of this book, it is free.
