The Algarve International Festival of Light – “LUZA” is already giving another color to Loulé. Until Sunday, November 26, you can see the Sovereign Mother shrine dress in purple, videomapping on the facade of the Municipal Market or a flag of Portugal in the fountain of Bica Velha.
The initiative, which is part of "365Algarve", kicked off this Friday with a “Torch Night Parade”. Hundreds of people walked down the slope of the Mother Sovereign with lit torches, which were then safely placed in Largo da Feira.
But throughout the city, with a greater focus on the historic centre, there is a lot to see: always with the light as a backdrop.
