A speedboat used by an international drug trafficking organization, which was in a marina in the Algarve, was seized by the Southern Directorate of the Judiciary Police.
According to the PJ, the organization, 'with headquarters in the Spanish province of Huelva, had placed the vessel in a marina in the Algarve, from which it traveled to Morocco, carried out the loading of hashish and subsequent transport to the Portuguese and Spanish coasts, where he transshipped the narcotic to other vessels, returning again to the marina without any traces of the drug».
At the end of last week, ten members of the same drug trafficking network were arrested in Spain. After being present at the Audiencia Nacional in Madrid, six of them were placed in preventive detention.
