The team from Guia Futebol Clube even lost the 1st round of the Portuguese Cup for women's football, against CAC Pontinha, but ended up being recaptured and will face Viseu 2001 ADSC in the 2nd round, scheduled for the 26th of November. 

The draw for this tie took place this Tuesday, 7 November.

In the 1st round, the team from the municipality of Albufeira had lost 2-0.

The Guia, who competes in the F Promotion Championship series, is the only Algarve team in competition.
