Where can you find Jim Morrison, from the Doors, next to Justin Bieber or Beyoncé? Or the Baby Jesus beside a Buddha or the Benfica eagle? Or even the plenty of the Sequeira Family and the Mateus Family? Or roasted octopus, mixing its scent with that of chestnuts and cotton candy? Or King vs Transformer?

It can only be at the Feira de São Martinho, in Portimão, which lasts until Sunday, November 12th.

The entertainment – which can range from the most childish carriages and trains, to the challenging «The King» and «Transformer», where you can see the world, literally, upside down, or even the tracks of bumper cars that advertise « ultra-sound music» – seem to have emerged from a noisy and bright street in Las Vegas.

The sound level is such that carrying on a conversation is impossible. But that doesn't stop the fair from being full of children and babies, many of them sleeping, amidst the paraphernalia of loud music.

This year's edition will once again feature two themed days – November 8th and 12th – chosen by exhibitors and the organization, with the aim of applying special prices on entertainment. Tomorrow, November 8th, the day is dedicated to children and young people (youth day), while the last day of the fair is dedicated to the family.

Until November 9th, the fair opens from 10:00 am to midnight and on November 24th and 00th it will be open from 10:11 am to 10:00 am. On the last day, the Fair will be open from 1:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Admission is free, and there's plenty to try, see, buy, eat, drink or simply admire.
