A 30-year-old man was detained by the GNR in Faro, this Tuesday, for drug trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon and driving without a license.
According to the GNR, the military of the Territorial Post of Faro "have approached a vehicle whose driver has behaved suspiciously."
The man, in addition to not having a driving license, secretly carried narcotics, a prohibited weapon and other objects "whose origin was unknown".
In addition to 18 doses of heroin and 14 doses of cocaine, the GNR seized an improvised explosive device, a handmade baton, a precision digital scale, items associated with the consumption and sale of drugs, four car radios, four watches, a mobile phone, a laptop computer, a portable video game console and other computer equipment.
The suspect was appointed defendant and, after being presented to the Judicial Court of Faro, the measure of coercion of term of identity and residence was applied.
