The 1st Iberian Water Polo Meeting took place this weekend, November 18th and 19th, in Silves and Portimão, bringing together Portinado and three Spanish teams.
The objectives were «to foster sporting relations with clubs in Andalusia, as well as to promote the sport in the Algarve, without forgetting the sport preparation of the teams involved», explains Portinado.
From Spain came the teams of Club Waterpolo Coria, Waterpolo Tomares and Union Waterpolo Pilas. «The result of this initiative was a success, both for the quality of the work that was carried out, as well as for the commitment and sportsmanship of all the teams involved», concludes the Portimão club.
