Feira de Santa Iria takes place from the 20th to the 29th of October, at Largo de São Francisco, in Faro, and, «despite being adapted to the new times, it will continue to maintain its traditional characteristics».
According to the Chamber of Faro, the event will present «a great diversity of attractions and reasons of interest such as the stands institutional, general exhibitions, entertainment for children and adults, taverns, handicrafts, dried fruits, plenty, cotton candy, exhibition of cars and agricultural machinery and the sale of various products».
On weekends, the taverns and restaurants will be open from 12:00 pm «for all those who want to enjoy the various regional products and dishes that can be found at this fair and which are in great demand during the lunch period», says the autarchy.
As has been customary in recent years, the Pontinha Car Park will be free on weekdays between the 16th of October and the 3rd of November in order to minimize the lack of free parking in the city center due to the impossibility of using it. the Largo de São Francisco for this purpose.
The Fair will be open from Monday to Thursday, from 16 pm to midnight, on Friday from 00 pm to 24 am, on Saturday from 00 pm to 16 am, and on Sunday from 00 pm to midnight.
This is an event organized by the municipal company AmbiFaro, in partnership with the Chamber of Faro.
