A multidisciplinary show, for babies up to 36 months, takes place on the 15th of October, with sessions at 10:00 am and 11:00 am, at the Cine-Teatro Louletano, in Loulé.

“Pico pico saranico” is the spiel that gives the motto and name to this show, in charge of the company ATEJA, which opens to the sound of “Bolero”, by Ravel, performed by violin, bassoon and guitar.

«The interpreters go out to meet each child, making known the sound of their instrument while strengthening relationships with the audience, creating a welcoming environment, conducive to spontaneity», says Câmara de Loulé.

"There are soap bubbles in the air, sheep with identity problems and a dragon hiding in a cave." There is also, in this show, a ballerina who rotates, with her arms in the air, «but doesn't get dizzy or leave her place! One escapes through a door and leaves us dreaming», he adds.

“Pico-Pico” is, then, “a musical circle for babies”. In other words: «a show where the audience is exposed to rich and contrasting musical stimuli, and in which interaction and communication between the performers and the babies, between the parents and the babies, and between the babies themselves are promoted».

«From songs, spiels and onomatopoeias to dance, poetry, visual effects and other enchantments, the aim is to provide a welcoming environment and, at the same time, a diversified artistic experience, encouraging the public to “hug” and “dancer”».

The company ATEJA, responsible for the show, is composed of Alicia Arias on violin, Teresa Silva on voice, Eduardo Sirtori on bassoon, João Violão on voice and guitar, and Ana Margarida Guerreiro on dance and movement. In fact, the company's name comes from the initials of the names of each of the interveners.

Sessions last 45 minutes. Tickets cost 3 euros per baby (parents do not pay). The two sessions to be held require limited prior registration.
