The 2nd “Weekend with Orange Flavor” takes place from the 24th to the 26th of November, in Silves, and the registration phase for restaurants that want to participate has already started.
«A weekend entirely dedicated to gastronomy, made using this product, will highlight the unique and recognized quality characteristics, for many years, of orange and other citrus fruit produced in this county, namely the sweetness, quantity of juice and delicacy of exceptional aromas», says the Chamber of Silves.
The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Silves with the support of the local Parish Council, the Algarve Wine Route and the Silves Sul Schools Group.
Until 7 October, restaurants in the city of Silves can join, and must include a dish made with orange in their menu, on the days when the event takes place.
The adhesion of restaurants must be made by filling out the appropriate form available here, where the participation rules can also be consulted. Enrollment must be formalized by handing in the form at the Tourism sector of the Municipality of Silves, located at Rua da Sé, n.º 6 – 2.º or by emailing [email protected].
