In Portimão and Lagos, people will walk in favor of memory, while at the same time raising funds for the Alzheimer Portugal Association. These two Algarve counties will host Passeios da Memória, on the 17th and 24th of September, initiatives that serve to mark the World Day of Alzheimer's Disease, which is commemorated on the 21st of September.

In Portimão, the tour will take place on the 17th of September, at 9:30 am, departing from the old auction in Alvor. In Lagos, the walk takes place on the 24th of September, with the meeting point set for the Municipal Market, also at 9:30 am.

Participation in these initiatives implies a minimum donation of 5 euros per participant, with the funds raised reverting, in full, to the Alzheimer Portugal Association.

Entries must be made on the Walk of Memory website, where additional information is available.
