The sixth Perceve Festival takes place from the 8th to the 10th of September, at the EB 2,3 School of São Vicente, in Vila do Bispo.
One of the icons of Vila do Bispo is back in the Costa Vicentina for three days dedicated to the flavors of the sea.
In addition to the star of the party, there are also mussels, cuttlefish feijoada, grilled limpets, fried moray eel, razor clams, octopus salad, shrimp, mussel porridge and fried cuttlefish, «among other snacks capable of satisfying the most demanding tastes», he says the Chamber of Vila do Bispo.
In addition to the delicacies of Vilabispense cuisine, the Festival also has musical entertainment, where the first day will feature “Undercover” and “Humberto Silva”. For the second day, performances by Evandro Cabral, Helena Candeias and Fábio Muchacho are scheduled.
On the last day, the Odiáxere, Acoustchiks and Emanuel Martins Folklore and Ethnographic Ranch will perform.
The Association of Shellfish Collectors of Vila do Bispo, organization of the event, intends, as in previous editions, to «attract people from various parts of the country to the municipality to taste the seafood of the region», considers the Vilabispense autarchy.
The event “which aims to promote one of the greatest gastronomic delicacies in the municipality, the perceve, has the support of the Vila do Bispo City Council”.
To receive guests, the doors will open every day at 14:00 and will close at 02:00 in the morning.
