The Gulbenkian Orchestra will give a concert on the 29th of September, at 21 pm, in the Municipal Auditorium of Lagoa.
The City Council's expectation is that the room will be filled "with an enthusiastic audience that appreciates good music".
The show is aimed at people over 6 years old. Tickets cost 8 euros (20% discount upon presentation of the Cultural Passport), and can be purchased here or at Worten, FNAC, Municipal Auditorium, Balcão Único da Câmara de Lagoa and Convento de S. José.
The Gulbenkian Orchestra was founded in 1962 as the Gulbenkian Chamber Orchestra, initially consisting of twelve musicians. It currently has sixty-six instrumentalists, a number that can be increased from time to time, according to the programs performed and which allows it to interpret a wide repertoire, from the classical period to contemporary music.
