Sustainable Tourism will be the central theme of the set of activities that the Centro Ciência Viva (CCV) of Lagos will promote on the last Friday of September, the 29th, as part of the European Researchers' Night.

The activities start at 20 pm, with the program including “conversation, discussion and tasting”, centered on three dimensions of the chosen theme: “biodiversity, heritage and gastronomy”, according to the CCV lacobrigense.

To enrich the experiences, the center invited three partners “who work and promote sustainable tourism in the Algarve – whale watching (Sea Unlimited), walking through the geological and paleontological heritage (GeoWalks & Talks) and promoting Algarve gastronomy and diet Mediterranean (Slow Food Algarve)».

«These three players will present their activities, as well as the advantages and difficulties of promoting tourism that goes beyond the usual Algarve sun and beach», referred the CCV of Lagos.

In addition to the “necessary discussion”, there will also be time for a show cooking and tasting of Algarve products and dishes in a convivial atmosphere, as “the Mediterranean Diet is not just a way of eating, it is also a way of being”.

"The center will also present its new 2017/2018 Educational Offer, featuring several demonstrations of its Workshops, including Robotics and Programming, in addition to its new technological space – Espaço Dòing, in moments dedicated to the youngest", completed the Lagos CCV.
