FACES – Savóia Cultural and Economic Activities Fair and the 2nd Medronho Festival will liven up the village in the municipality of Odemira, between 12 and 15 August.
According to the Chamber of Odemira, «as in previous editions, FACES will feature dozens of exhibitors from various economic activities and a strong handicraft component, with several artisans working live».
The local authority says that this «will also be a space where gastronomy, entertainment, sports and socializing will be highlighted, with numerous musical shows, with special emphasis on the performance of Adiafa on the 12th of August. The official opening is scheduled for the same day, at 19 pm.
The Medronho Festival takes place, for the second consecutive year, simultaneously with the FACES program. Over the four days «there will be several activities of animation, demonstration and tasting of products related to medronho», says the Chamber of Odemira.
The organization of FACES belongs to the Humanitarian Association Dona Ana Pacheco and Sabóia Atlético Clube, in partnership with the Manufacturing Commission of the Parochial Church of Sabóia /Festival Commission Municipality of Odemira, Parish Council of Sabóia, National Republican Guard and the population of the parish.
