The municipal company Infralobo is carrying out an awareness campaign, on the beach at Garrão Nascente, until the 23rd of August, where it warns of the need to drink more water during the summer due to the high temperatures.
This action, which has also passed through the beaches of Vale do Lobo and Garrão Poente, will once again pass through these beaches on the 21st (Vale do Lobo) and 22nd (Garrão Poente).
«In the middle of August, marked by days of intense and excessive heat, maintaining the proper body temperature is essential. High temperatures require more rigorous hydration, so water intake must be higher to avoid the risk of dehydration», explains that municipal company.
The awareness campaign is in its second phase. In the first, the company addressed its employees, especially those operating more exposed to the sun.
Another particularity is the fact that Infralobo has created bottles suitable for this time of year, which allow you to transport tap water everywhere in a practical way.
"Easy to fill, refill, transport, allow access to water anywhere," according to the municipal company.
In these awareness actions, bottles of this kind are being handed out.
