The team of farorows of Farol of Cabo de Santa Maria ensured the maintenance of several navigation buoys in the Ria Formosa area, in a planned action that took place over the past week.
These farorows, in addition to the maintenance and operation of the Farol Cabo de Santa Maria, are responsible for the planned and corrective maintenance of 72 beacon equipment in the Ria Formosa, between Vilamoura and Fuseta.
In addition to carrying out the work that proved necessary for the buoy system to work at 100%, the team took the opportunity «to integrate the new intern of the last course in faroin a beacon environment».
The team of this Farol consists of a farochief keeper, three faroand now an intern.
