A meeting of old motorcycles, promoted by the group of friends «Avariados de Albufeira», will promote interaction between owners and lovers of these machines, while raising funds for APEXA – Association for the Support of Exceptional Persons in the Algarve. The Great Solidarity Meeting of Old Motorbikes is scheduled for the 10th of September, in the multi-sports area of Guia, and is open to everyone.
The event starts with registration and a breakfast at 8:30 am, followed by the exhibition of the participating machines. At 9:30 am, the motorbikes will hit the road, for a ride through the municipalities of Albufeira and Silves, returning to Guia, for lunch, scheduled for 13:00 pm, where various prizes will be awarded. The meeting point is at Café Rocha, in Guia.
The cost of participation in this meeting is 15 euros, including two meals and a mid-morning booster, a t-shirt alluding to the event and a souvenir. All the money that is raised reverts to APEXA.
Os "Albufeira Damaged" they are a group of friends "who have been together for several years around the passion for antique motorcycles", who moved forward in 2017 to their 1st Solidarity Meeting of Antique Motorcycles.
