This Thursday, 20 July, the GNR seized 23 cannabis plants, about one meter high, in rural land, in Ribeira das Canas (Monchique).
This apprehension arose during an action of patrolling and surveillance of the forest.
The plants "were found in a desolate place, hidden among the vegetation", says the GNR.
In the vicinity of the same land, 800 grams of cannabis were later seized.
