Loulé bids farewell to summer again with a White Night, scheduled for the 26th of August, the last Saturday of the next month. The Algarve and the many who choose the Algarve to enjoy their holidays are invited to dress in white and enjoy an entertainment program in the heart of the city.

Those who go to Loulé on the night of 26th August can count on various cultural events, "from music to street entertainment, from fashion to painting, from the new circus to the visual arts", according to the Câmara de Loulé, which organizes the event .

«The streets, squares and squares of the city gain a new life, dressed in white and with a surprise at every corner, presenting performances in which, at times, visitors are also protagonists. More than two hundred street performers will add soul and color to the party, including jugglers, fire-breathers, statue-men, clowns, magicians, musicians, gymnasts or dancers. Chill Out and electronic music will accompany the entire philosophy of the event and the sounds of DJs and bands will echo in all corners of this urban center», describes the local authority from Loulé.

More detailed information about the program, only on the day of the event, since «the surprise factor is one of the hallmarks of this party».

The main objective of this initiative is to boost local commerce, whereby «the stores will be open throughout the night, decorated in white, with windows decorated to perfection, and discounts on their products».

The municipality also promises “animation and playful spaces in key points of the urban center, encouraging a closer look at areas that are sometimes forgotten or even unknown”.
