The promotion of the National Route 2 Tourist Route, gastronomy and handicrafts are also, in addition to music, bets on FACAL – Almodôvar Arts and Culture Fair, which takes place from Friday, July 7th, to Sunday (day 9).
The musical component is «another of the strong bets with the objective of attracting visitors, not only from our region, but from other parts of the country», according to the Chamber of Almodôvar.
«As is well known, those who visit us, in addition to taking the name Almodôvar out of doors, consume in our restaurants, in our commerce, overnight in our hotels, which always brings a good breath of fresh air to our local economy and regional, helping to maintain and create jobs and further energize our municipality», he adds.
On Friday, July 7th, FACAL will headline Tony Carreira. On Saturday it is the turn of the Olives and Matias Damásio to enchant the visitors.
On Sunday, Miguel Camões Martins and Ana Moura take to the stage.
«The Municipality of Almodôvar has in culture a strong ally for the local and regional development strategy. For this reason, every year our FACAL grows in quality and quantity. This year we once again have more than a hundred exhibitors, from handicrafts, through to gastronomy, associations and communities, among many other themes, which do not dispense with a visit», says the municipality.
