The hotel already existed but has now been reclassified as 5 stars. The official Five Star rating is part of the recognition of the characteristics of the VidaMar Resort Hotel Algarve, the largest hotel in Herdade dos Salgados and the only one on the seafront, with 21 square meters of outdoor space, 260 rooms, three swimming pools. salt water, an oval with 74 meters and a heated water, and a wide range of services for the well-being of adults and children.
VidaMar Resort Hotel Algarve and VidaMar Resort Villas Algarve are the only units of Herdade dos Salgados that do not belong to the tourism investment fund, whose management company is ECS Capital, which acquired the hotels previously operated by CS Hotels&Resorts, currently under the NAU Hotels&Resorts brand.
The VidaMar Hotels&Resorts brand, which includes three resorts in its portfolio, it had a turnover of 30 million euros in 2016, and is expected to expand its national geographic dimension in the coming years and reach a turnover in excess of 50 million euros by 2020.
