The «placement of prefabricated concrete elements, beams and pre-slabs, in the overpasses of the railway at Maritenda and Fontainhas», on the EN125, will force to cut traffic on this important road and to implement detours, during the night and dawn, on the 29th and 30th of June and also on the 1st of July.
Thus, in relation to the Maritenda pier, in the Boliqueime (Loulé) area, cuts and detours will be implemented between 20 pm on Thursday, the 29th and 7:00 am on Friday, the 30th.
In the case of the Fontainhas pier (near Ferreiras), detours will take place between 20 pm on Friday, June 00, and 30 am on Saturday, 7 July.
The concessionaire of Rodovias do Algarve Litoral stresses that the detours will never be implemented simultaneously.
As has been customary in similar sections because of the works on those two upper passages, the deviations will be properly marked.
In any case, and even if the tolls remain, the best solution is to use the Via do Infante/A22 during the hours when the EN125 remains cut off.
