Some artists from sand city, which hosts the International Sand Sculpture Festival (FIESA), are sculpting live an «imposing sand sculpture», from this Thursday, June 1st, until the 4th, at the Algarve Forum, in Faro.

In total there will be 20 tons of sand, which will allow a piece "about 2,5 meters high".

This year FIESA will pay tribute to the arts by showing 45 thousand tons of sand transformed into pieces that illustrate some of the best known works of painting, sculpture, literature, cinema and music.
