An action to raise awareness of Innovation and to present the Project INOVA Algarve 2020, co-financed by CRESC Algarve 2020, will take place on the 21st of June, at 10:30 am, at the Convento de S. José Auditorium, in Lagoa.
The session is promoted by NERA – Business Association of the Algarve Region and by AMAL – Algarve Intermunicipal Community, in partnership with Câmara de Lagoa.
INOVA Algarve 2020 aims to enable companies in the Algarve region to assess their innovation potential and enable them to develop innovative projects, with a view to submitting applications for the CRESC ALGARVE 2020 operational plan.
This project seeks to strengthen the connection of SMEs in the region with business associations, municipalities and higher education establishments, in the development of innovative activities, with a view to pursuing new goods and services and increasing productivity.
Through this initiative, the promoters aim to «sensitize SMEs in the municipality of Lagoa to the critical factors of competitiveness in the field of Innovation and identify companies with innovation potential, encouraging them to implement innovative activities, in line with the RIS3 Domains of Specialization Algarve».

On the same day, there will be a similar session at the Salão Nobre dos Paços do Concelho, in Albufeira, at 15:00.
