The Cultural Association – Dancenema, together with the Municipality of Portimão, presents, for the seventh consecutive year, the project «Holidays with Dance – Summer Dance School», taking place between 10 and 28 July, from 14:30 pm to 18:00 pm, at Casa das Artes, in Portimão.
The activity is aimed at children and young people who are interested in the art of dancing and in contact with various modalities.
This project is part of the Municipal School of Ballet and will be divided into a single shift, with children and young people from 9 years old up to the age limit of 16 years old being able to enroll. Each modality must have a minimum of eight participants and a maximum of 16.
This year's program includes a set of modalities that aim to provide children and young people with contact with various styles of dance, from Ballet to Contemporary Dance, through Hip-Hop, Jazz Dance, Dances of the World, Musical Theater and even Expression Body.
The challenge is also to «create unique memories and, at the same time, learn different styles of dance», with accredited teachers such as Ana Brito, Mariana Rodrigues, Thora Jorge, Heidi Sharples, Stephanie de Sousa and Laura Abel.
The registration period runs from 3 to 7 July at Casa das Artes, Urbanização Santo Expedito, 3 Bicos, from 17:00 pm to 20:30 pm and by telephone 282495334 or email: [email protected]. The Holidays With Dancing hours are from Monday to Friday, from 14:30 pm to 18:30 pm.
Dancenema, by presenting another edition of the project “As Vacations with Dance”, aims to provide all children and young people with the occupation of their vacations with dance, rhythm and learning different choreographies.
